Pedro Pablo Alcalá Puello was elected second vice president of the Turbaco Council for 2027. The councilman received all 15 available votes in the full council and will take office on January 1.

He returns to the leadership team

Alcalá Puello previously served as second vice president in 2025, when he was part of the leadership team alongside President Marlon Torres Puello and First Vice President Wilmer Orozco Carrillo.

In 2026, Esteban Cantillo Acuña was second vice president, serving on the team led by José Gilberto Carrasquilla Paternina, with Yeixel Reyes Arnedo as first vice president.

The election for 2027 marks Alcalá Puello’s return to the position. The leadership team supports the work of the council, which debates and approves municipal ordinances and exercises political oversight of the local administration.
