Afinia scheduled work on Turbaco’s electrical infrastructure for Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The announcement called for a service interruption between 7:40 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the areas included.

The date of that scheduled work has already passed. This account concerns the November 3 notice and does not announce a new power outage in the municipality.

The company presented the work as part of its network optimization plan. The schedule covered residential areas, educational institutions, and rural parts of Turbaco.

The neighborhoods included in the announcement

The urban areas listed were El Recreo, La Cruz, El Rosario, San Pedro–Santa Ana housing development, Media Tapa, San Pablo, Manzanares, and La Estrella.

The list also named Las Mercedes, Parcelas, Juan XXIII, and 5 de Octubre. It included Carreras 1A through 31 and Calles 1 through 27, as well as roads such as San Roque, del Tronco, and Santa Catalina.

The venues and establishments mentioned included the baseball stadium, the airfield, the hand-dug well in El Recreo, Turbaco Club Social, the La Caribeña sports court, and Ara El Canario.

The notice included the Howard Gardner, San José, Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, María Auxiliadora, and Felipe Santiago Escobar schools among the areas scheduled for the work.

The schedule in rural areas

The rural areas listed included Ciudadela Bonanza Vista, identified as El Retorno del Amor, and sections of the Troncal de Occidente toward Arjona. Corpisos and Granitos y Mármoles were also mentioned.

The list extended to the road to the slaughterhouse and the Calimbe road. The municipal slaughterhouse and Coralene appeared among the surrounding areas included in the schedule.

How to ask about a service disruption

A maintenance schedule indicates the planned hours for the work. To clarify a specific outage, customers can provide the company with their address, the date, and the times when they noticed the lack of power.

Those details make it easier to ask about an individual case, especially when the same work covers several neighborhoods or areas. The date identifying this notice is exclusively November 3, 2026.
